2024 Processing dates available

2025 Dates

 

Our beef prices are changing for 2025. We have decided to go to a hanging weight price instead of live weight. For 2025, our beef will be $3.75/lb hanging weight plus processing. 


Our Pig Processing dates are scheduled for the end of October & the beginning of November. This way, people will have their orders in time for the Holidays. Our processing location for the pigs will be at Lake Geneva Country Meats. Pricing will be set in Summer and announced on Facebook & Instagram.


Beef

April 21st- 1 at Lake Geneva Country Meats

May 19th- 2 at Lake Geneva Country Meats

June 16th- 2 at Lake Geneva Country Meats

July 21st- 2 at Lake Geneva Country Meats

August 18th- 2 at Lake Geneva Country Meats

September 15th- 2 at Lake Geneva Country Meats

October 14th- 1 at Lake Geneva Country Meats

November 3rd- 2 at Lake Geneva Country Meats

December 1st- 2 at Lake Geneva Country Meats


Pigs

October 30th- 7 at Lake Geneva Country Meats

Processing Orders

All of our steers are processed at Lake Geneva Country Meat, in Lake Geneva or Sorgs in Darien. Our pigs will be processed at Lake Geneva Country Meats. For more information on Lake Geneva Country Meats, Sorgs, or Country Pride, check out our FAQ's page. 

Processing orders can be divided or kept whole. Here is what you get if the steer weighed 1500 lbs:


Whole Steer: +/- 800 lbs.


1/2 Steer: +/- 400 lbs.


1/4 Steer: +/- 200 lbs. 

       

      *All of these weights are estimates. Every steer finishes at a different weight. You can expect roughly 55-60% of live weight will come back to you in meat.


Processing orders for pigs can be divided in half or kept whole. Here is what you get if the pig weighed 350 lbs:


Whole Pig: +/- 228 lbs.


1/2 Pig: +/- 114 lbs.


   *All of these weights are estimates. Every pig finishes at a different weight. You can expect roughly 65-70% of live weight will come back to you in meat.

How to Reserve your Processing Date?

We are asking that if you are interested in reserving a date for a processing order, please contact Kristin @ 262-215-9156. You can contact her by text message, calling, or Facebook messenger anytime Monday-Saturday 7 am to 7pm.  We ask that you let her know the date you are looking to reserve, your name, your phone number, and if you are looking for 1/4, 1/2, or whole. Please remember that dates fill up fast. Let Kristin know what date you want.  She looks forward to hearing from you!

New Customers

As a new customer, we ask that you reserve your processing spot with a $250 deposit for 1/4 or 1/2's and a $500 deposit for whole orders. We accept cash, check, or Venmo for deposits.
